Some Tips for Constipation

Recently at a family gathering I had a relative share that they had taken care of a constipation problem by performing a coffee enema.

After that, I found it difficult to enjoy the turkey chili that I had ordered for dinner, but the incident drilled in the fact that constipation can be an agonizing problem.

Here are a few tips that might be of help in getting your constipation under your control.  As a note, the following is for informational purposes only and is not intended to take the place of professional advice.  Your personal doctor is your best Constipation Advisor.

Add more fiber to your diet in the form of cereals, beans, grains and fresh fruits and vegetables.  Be sure to check the box for fiber information before purchasing the product.

Be certain that you are taking in ample fluids throughout the day.

If you are dormant, your intestines mirror that.  Make an effort to move, and they'll move as well.  Incorporating a brisk walk in the morning and evening might be all you need to become a Reggie.

Keep your life as stress free as possible.  Stress contributes to all sorts of bodily ills.

Many times, constipation is a sign that something inside isn't quite right. That's when it's time to make a visit to your doctor.
